Book as new and unread with slight age-wear - faint yellowing around page edges, especially the end-pages. Top edge of green boards a wee bit dusty/faded. Dust jacket has full-colour reproduction of detail from 'The Blues' 1974. Stunningly illustrated, the book has 250 illustrations, including 120 plates in full-colour. The first full-length study of this great American artist, covering his life and the development of his work through Myron Schwartzman's text, which includes many conversations with the artist. Foreword by playwright August Wilson, some of whose plays were inspired by Bearden's work. A very heavy book, this will require extra postage outside the UK. N° de ref. de la librería 002845
