About the Author: Rachid Manseur (Pensacola, FL) is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of West Florida. He holds degrees in mathematics and electrical engineering, including a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and a professional engineer license in the state of Florida. He is cofounder and coordinator of the UWF Robotics and Image Analysis Laboratory where he directs several student projects in robotics. His experience includes over 15 years of engineering teaching and research in robotics, embedded systems, analog and digital electronics, control, visualization techniques for mechanical systems, and engineering education.
