This is the Macmillan and Company First Edition, published September, 1926, of Padraic Colum's profusely illustrated tour of Ireland, The Road Round Ireland (492 pages). The cover (app. 5.75" x 8"), green cloth background with gold lettering to the front and spine, is in very good overall condition, with a number of faded spots to the background, but with that color good overall, and with no notable fade to the gilt lettering. The spine, with minimal end curl, is straight and securely attached. There are no prominent stains, and no tears. The inside is also very good, with moderate foxing and tanning to the end pages, and occasional light stains, mostly slight discolorations to the pages adjacent to the illustrations, but with almost all text pages unstained, and with no fade to any lettering or to any of the art. The only extraneous elements are the signature of a previous owner to the front inside cover, and the blind-embossed circular stamp of that owner. The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears or notable creases. The accompanying photos are of this copy. Nº de ref. del artículo: 1247
