Translated from the French by Una,Lady Troubridge. Small 8vo, 236pp. Hardcover, bound in original black cloth stamped in red and gilt, with fantastic Art Deco pictorial dustjacket. Red topstain. The book is in very good condition, with firm binding and crisp, clean, pages. Inscription to front endpaper: "Now that you're living alone- and have had a new birthday, Life may well prove a revelation / Paolo / March 9, 1932." Pages are otherwise unmarked. A little wear to upper corner of front board. The dustjacket is unclipped, showing original $2.50 price, and has mild wear and soiling to extremities. Remains very attractive in a new Mylar wrapper.
