Part I, 134p., Part II, 83p., Part III, 102p., Part IV, 114p., 3p. index, 64 p. (appendices) and one page of two corrections. A poor copy, binding-wise, but nearly all illustrations are blemish-free and very nice. The illustrations are as follows: Part 1, (General Report): 12 tinted lithographic views, one with moderate foxing and 13 is statistical graphs. Part 2, (Geological Report). 1 tinted lithographic view, 4 plates of shells. Part 3, (Botanical Report). a. Ten tinted lithographic trees and b. Six black and white lithographic plates of plants collected on the expedition. Pages 95-96 are lacking, but as it is missing from both of our copies and as there is no textual evidence that it was ever there, perhaps it is a printer's error. Part 4, (Zoological Report). 11 black and white fish lithographic plates, two plates of colored bird lithographs, possibly colored by hand or possibly chromo-liths, and 3 black and white lithographs of mammals. This is a sorry looking copy, the front and back covers are present, but there is no spine and while some pages are still sewn together many pages are loose. What this copy does have going for it, is a complete set of plates in near fine condition. It would be a very expensive proposition to restore this copy, as so much sewing would be required. Size: 4to - over 9 3/4" - 12" Tall. N° de ref. de la librería 021921

The Chatham Bookseller began in 1968, and, in 1970, opened a store at its present location in Madison, New Jersey. The store contains over 10,000 books and 80 subjects, and favors good used books and good literature over popular books and bestsellers. The store carries hardcover and paperbacks. Our Internet business began in 2001. The approximately 4,000 Internet books and pamphlets are kept on the premises, but cannot be viewed as a whole. We appreciate all of our customers and try to serve them well and fulfill their special needs. The store hours are 9-5:30 Tuesday through Friday except 6:30 on Thursday, 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. The business is owned and operated by Richard Chalfin and Kathy Rodgers
