The Reader's Digest, The Little magazine. February 1922. First edition of this famous publication. In very good condition for its age. " Thirty-one articles each month from leading magazines - each article of enduring value and interest, in condensed and compact form". Editors: Lila Bell Achison, DeWitt Wallace, Louise M. Patteson, Hazel J. Cubberley. Among the articles are "The Future of Poison Gas; Henry Ford, Dreamer and Worker; Advice from a President's Physician; Is the Stage too Vulgar (this title is misprinted in the contents list as "Is the State too Vulgar)."The contents of the magazine are clean with no marks and very light age-yellowing. The (paper) cover is stapled tightly with no rust on the staples. The cover print (in black) is clear and unfaded. The front cover has some age browning - the back cover less. The only (slight) damage is a small triangular tear of 3/4 inch by 3/8 inch at the bottom right hand corner of the front cover, 1/8 inch by 3/8 inch of this is missing - 1/8 inch by 1/4 inch triangle missing from top right hand corner. Back cover has a small tear at the top left hand corner of 1/2 inch depth, 1/4 inch across tapering to nothing at the corner - also a 1/2 inch tear at the bottom edge. Some roughing to the top front edge. This rare item is being protected in Brodart. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. N° de ref. del artículo 000548
