John Sexton explores our natural environment through his exquisitely crafted black-and-white photographs, following in the West Coast tradition of his longtime friend and mentor, Ansel Adams. Sexton chooses to photograph in what he refers to as "quiet light", a luminous glow of gentle light he finds occasionally at dawn, but more often late in the day, after the sun has set. Illustrated with 51 laser-scanned duotone plates. This copy has promotional material laid in, including 2 brochures for his photography workshops.
