Du Faur (Guy, Sieur de Pibrac) Les Quatrains.dedie a Monseigneur le Dauphin, etched throughout with pictorial title and 22 plates by Brebiette. Images c.180 x 120mm, or smaller. Two wormholes, one affecting c.15 plates in lower outer corner, the other marginal. Later red morocco, gilt, by Hardy-Menil (their stamp in gilt to the base of the front board), spine gilt, page edges gilt, a little rubbed at edges, wormholes extending through covers, large 8vo, Paris, Anthoine Robinot, 1640. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition title in gilt, worn. Joints good condition cracked to part of the front and rear joint (¼ to ½) but holding well. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards good condition wormholes to lower front and rear boards. Page edges good condition gilt. See above and photos.
