Quartet by Jean Rhys, Hardcover, UK Edition (1969). The book was first published in 1928 by Chatto & Windus, under the title 'Postures'. This edition was first published in 1969 by Andre Deutsch Limited. 'Quartet' was its title in the first American edition, and this is the title preferred by the author, Jean Rhys. Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has bumping to the spine ends, with slight fading to the extremities, and minor ageing to the top page edges.
