Walck, NY, 1938, 1962, 1st printing in this enlarged edition stated, unpaginated but approx. 40 pages, 17 color illustrations by Tasha Tudor, color illustrated endpapers, EX-LIBRARY COPY with the usual marks, 6-1/8 x 6-3/4 , yellow cloth with brown titles, heavy shelfwear, other corners have light wear, light cover soil, tape residue on both covers, good- dust jacket with a 2 x 1 piece cut from the top front edge, light soil, tape stain and 1 tear on rear panel, despite the cutout on the front the dust jacket looks bright and cheery and is protected in a clean new plastic cover, 1/2 x 2 spot where a label was removed on front endpaper, library stamp blacked out with marker on title page and last page, free front endpaper removed, very pale pen marks on a preliminary page, pages lightly soiled, binding tight, book good (G/G-) 2480 [SOss22ABE]. Librarium (a Latin word meaning "bookcase") is a second-hand bookstore in upstate New York. We have been selling books since 1979. We have an open shop and browsers are always welcome. You may want to call before you come for hours and/or directions. We are 2-1/2 hours from both New York City and Boston, less than 5 minutes from the northernmost exit on the Taconic Parkway and exit B2 on the Berkshire Extension of the Mass Pike, not far from Albany NY and Pittsfield MA. We have a large general hardcover stock with some trade paperbound titles and paperbacks. We have a good selection of children's books but also have something in almost every subject, fiction and non-fiction. There is also a barn full of books, most of which are $2.00 and under, for browsing in the summertime only.
