Complete with 20 + 18 b/w engravings, including the frontispiece portraits of George III and Queen Charlotte after paintings by William Beechey in vols. 1 and 2 respectively, and a stunning fold-out multifigural plate of the 'Ceremony of the Challenge' in vol. 1. The other plates comprise portraits of the most important figures from the time of George III's reign.
