A beautiful vintage softcover trade catalog by the Polay-Jennings Fixture Company, 32 pages. Oblong. Saddle stapled binding. Illustrated tan paper wraps with the title at the front cover and an illustration at the rear cover. Printed in black and white on thick, slick paper. Profusely illustrated with photographs, diagrams and other illustrations throughout. Rubbing, discoloration, chipping and small closed tears to the edges of the covers. TS889 in lead pencil and a smudged and dated Library U.S. Patent Office stamp to the front cover and first page. Otherwise, pages are clean and free of writing. The binding is a little loose, but everything remains intact. No pages looser than others. A fascinating collection of early 20th century fixtures for window displays. Includes different models of tiered tables, single stands, shoe displays, screens, glass sign holders, plateaux, glass shelves, card frames, millinery stands, gown stands, dress forms, tie racks, and haberdasher stands, valance drapes, among many other items. Each entry includes a description, an illustration or photograph and a price.
