Light bumping and scuffing to edges and corners of covers with a bit of nicking and fraying to the cloth at the corner tips and a bit of the color scuffed off along edges. Light overall scuffing to covers as well. Spine cocked but binding is still tight. Endpapers are quite browned. Otherwise pages are lightly aged, but clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Missing dust jacket. Will Ermine was a pen name of Harry Sinclair Drago (1887 - 1979). Drago was a popular writer of westerns as well as a historian of the Old West. He also wrote under the names Stewart Cross, Kirk Deming, Bill Lomax J, Wesley Putnam and Grant Sinclair. Drago, who was born in Toledo, Ohio, and got to know the west through its literature and documents, wrote more than 100 westerns, and was reported to have been one of President Eisenhower's favorite authors. He also spent several years in Hollywood as a screenwriter, and provided a number of scripts for the silent screen stars of the day.
