No date . 320 pages, with over 1,200 how-to-do-it photo illustrations. Very likely the FIRST EDITION as description accords with BL dating of 1935. Section I covers poultry keeping and has 136 pages.Sections II-IV cover Vegetable, Fruit and Flower growing, and Section V covers Livestock and Holding, including Goat, Pig and Dairy work. Index. Dimpled blue Rexine boards, 9.5 in. tall, with gilt title and cockerel on upper board; some wear to edges and hinges but still bright and clean. Mottled blue end-papers without inscription, a little loose at lower hinge. Name on page opposite title page (J H Twist, Choppington) which has closed tearing right in the hinge ¿ not affecting anything. The rest of the book is clean and firm with no loose pages or foxing, just a few smudges here and there and a little staining to the last index page.
