The name of E. Kidd is written in pen on the front pastedown and the album is in 2 sections whcish suggests that it was perhaps compiled by two different people. The first section from maybe even as early as 1921 to 1926 contains 134 photographs including a lady seated at Corfe Castle, Cowes regatta, Women bathing at Bournemouth, Peggy, Beryl & Gwladys on a tennis court, a car from the period with Winnie at the wheel, people at Apethorpe, Mr. Fisher, Edith and Aunt Emma, Mother, at the haven, Hunstanton, A fancy car titled the "Eric", Kingscliffe Church, Mr & Mrs. Green, Park House, Welland House Welbourne, Tarrazona Group, Lou & Glad, Eustace F, Stamford, College groups of girls, H.R.H. Prince Edward in a chauffeur driven car, Hartford Gardens, Trossachs, Largo, Don, Lady Jane, Beauty (dog, horse and dog), Bernard Guthrie, McNeil family, College Reunion 1924, Tarrazona Mansion, Cheltenham, Stratford, images include a number with a car of the period, Apethorpe Hall, Scarboro, Penechik on a motorbike in 1926, Allendale, Saltburn by Sea, family groups and more. The second section contains the rest of the collection and is focused more on places includes Germany Frillensee, Inverness, Ripon, Fountain's Abbey, The Trossachs, Edinburgh, Harrogate, Wells, Hereford, Defvon, Ilfracombe, Bristol, Chester, North Wales, Bath, Stratford on Avon, St.Margaret's College - including students in dramatic roles in the Scarlet Pimpernel and She Stoops to Conquer. One large photo from the Alnwick & County Gazette & Guardian shows a row of women on floor or on edge of a stage each with one hand in the air as if saluting almost in Heil Hitler style with an audience comprised wholly of women seated looking on. Marbled covers with green mo. spine and corners. Rear cover torn with marble and cotton like material loss and boards exposed. A few photos are torn with loss. Else good +. Captures the times well.
