Hard Cover. Very Good/Not Issued in Dustjacket. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 208 pages. An uncommon non-fiction title, contains 53 essays, articles, poems and biographical sketches on aspects of Pennsylvania history and its citizens. With numerous illustrations. The book is bound in heavy-duty green cloth, with stamped gilt lettering and embossed black decorations on the front and the spine. The pages are of heavy, high quality, semi-glossy paper. The book is clean and stain-free, stands perfectly straight, no leaning, no warping, no cocking, no rolling of the spine. The volume remains firm and tight in its binding, with no pages loose, missing, folded or torn. The hinges are sound and completely undamaged. The corner tips are unbumped. The pages show a hint of age toning, but all pages are clean, and all text is clear, sharp and extremely readable. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting or markings of any such kind in the book. There is some occasional, brief, light wear to the cloth covers at the extremeties, and a minor ding to the top edge of both the front and rear boards, as if the book was bumped lightly against a shelf edge. This is a solid, clean, attractive copy of a scarce book. N° de ref. de la librería
