Sinopsis:

In his prequel to Eyes of Wisdom, The Myth of White Buffalo Woman, Heyoka describes the life of the people who worshiped in the great cave temples of Europe thousands of years ago. The Paleolithic hunter/gatherer ancestors of ours had a deep connection with the wisdom of the Earth, and their unique ceremonies reflected their pursuit of the Way of Balance within the Web of Life. When the Aryan tribes overwhelm the older cultures of the world, the People of the Painted Earth Temple are forced to leave Gaia’s Land and migrate over the land bridge into the New World. Merrifield’s story brings to light that rediscovering the way our ancient grandparents were nurtured by life in the natural world may be an empowering gift in our present journey towards wholeness.

Biografía del autor:

Heyoka Merrifield is an artist living in southwest Montana. Searching for reasons why ancient art pieces radiate an inner life and power led him on a lifelong quest of learning from the same source that illuminated these artistic ancestors. On his journey toward understanding sacred art, he embraced the Native American shamanic traditions and was able to experience the universality of ceremonial art. His fulfillment in touching the sacred within his art has brought international acclaim to his work. Heyoka has authored Sacred Art Sacred Earth, The Painted Earth Temple, and Eyes of Wisdom.
