Complete in two 8vo volumes, [viii + 320pp] + [viii + 320pp]. With numerous illustrations in black & white. Hardcover, bound in contemporary red hald leather with marbled boards. Five raised bands, dark green labels and gilt decorations to spines. Marbled edges and endpapers. In very good conditon overall. The bindings are intact and firm. Pages are clean and unmarked. Ownership signature, dated 1911, and short printed catalogue clipping to verso of front endpaper in the first volume, otherwise unmarked. Some wear and rubbing to extremities; front joint of Vol. II is tender but the board remains firmly attached.
