Old Handwritten Cook Book in an old Blank Account Book c. 1910

10.5 x 7.5", half leather; marbled boards, 152pp, covers worn, spine almost totally gone with front cover detached, extremities chipped, pp toned and used with handwritten recopies, glued-in newspaper and magazine clippings, portions of old books laid in loose, etc. Kind of a mess, but still intriguing. We've dated the book from old clipped newspaper baseball box scores (with recopies on reverse), and some of the ads related to Chicago, though a partially viewable stationary store label inside the front cover is from St. Louis. SWAF. There is a pencil name of "M.E. Millen" also inside front cover. Handwritten recipes include biscuits, Gold Cake, Sponge Cake, Delmonico Cake, Blanc Mange, Floating Island, Lizzie's Salad Dressing, etc. etc. N° de ref. del artículo 22-2916
