Copyright 1909 but published 1910. DESCRIPTION: 128 p. : ill. ; 21 cm. SUBJECTS: Cookery--Canada. A number of full page illustrations from photographs, as well as line drawings in margins. Illus. from photos of company buildings and operations. Very Good+ condition in illustrated card covers with green cloth backstrip. Image on front cover of seated woman in balooning dress reading a book; drawing of windmill on title page. Clean and bright, remarkably nice condition for this book, now about 100 years old. This publication has been an influential early Canadian cookery book. Driver states it was the first Canadian mass market cookbook (followed by the Five Roses Flour Cook Book in 1913 and Robin Hood Flour Cook Book in 1915).
