Set of 10 Hardcovers (Incomplete). Sextodecimo. ORIGINAL CIRCA 1875 PRINTING. Previous owner's name and inscription on front endpaper (dated 1892). No dust jackets issued. Half leather binding with marble boards. Covers show minor shelf wear, rubbing and light scuffing to edges. Corners rubbed, some corners minutely bumped. Raised bands on spine with gilt lettering and ornamentation still bright. A couple volumes show rubbing and small scuffs to the spine. Pages clean and unmarked. Gilt top edge, deckled fore-edge, untrimmed bottom. Minimal foxing present. Marbled endpapers. Bookbinder's sticker on front endpapers. Binding very tight, hinges remain unbroken.
