Acerca de

To say this book is just about urban sprawl wouldn't exactly be true. This book is about people -- their homes, their lives, their spirits. It's about the American Dream -- what it means, and how we go about attaining it. It's about our front lawns and our basketball hoops. Our weekday commute. Our dreams and demands. Our apprehensions and regrets. It's about Applebee's and Best Buy and Pottery Barn and parking lots. It's about the land that sustains our stomachs as well as our souls. It's about growing further away from that which we can't quite put our finger on. It's about the "big story" that is happening from one town to the next, across the United States.
