*****8vo hardcover in blue boards with titles in black on front. Illustrated blue/pink/white DJ. First Printing. Very Good+ in Very Good DJ/: DJ exhibits chip to top and bottom of spine (about 1/2".) Two other chips along spine edge also (1/2" & 1/4" approx.) Front panel has approx. 1/2" chip to top right corner. Front board bumped at top left corner. Text itself exceptionally clean, bright & unmarked. Illustrated eps front & rear depict scene of Fisherman's Wharf. 31pp. Nino has a birthday coming, but the fishing season has not been a good one for his father at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, California, and a party is looking unlikely.The sardines were few and had gone early while the salmon were late in coming and very hard to catch. Nino, however, has an idea.Illustrated in a pink & blue palette by 'Goodnight Moon' Illustrator Clement Hurd, many full page. Altogether a lovely copy of a charming little book. #6008hbr.
