Nimrod's Hunting Reminiscences, John Lane The Bodley Head Limited, 1926 This book comprises memoirs of Masters of Hounds, notices of the crack riders and characteristics of the hunting counties of England. The introduction is by W.Shaw Sparrow and fifty-one illustrations in colour, line and half-tone in fine condition are throughout the book. Published by John Lane at the Bodley Head Limited, this is a first impression of this edition in very good condition. The superb half leather binding and red boards are straight, tight, and clean with raised bands and gilt lettering on the spine. The end papers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions. Not commonly seen in such good condition, this is a collectable book which would make an impressive addition to a library or a wonderful gift.
