An account of the visit of Queen Victoria to Lancaster in 1851. Originally printed in the Lancaster Gazette this book implies that it was also published separately with photographs in 1851. However, COPAC only lists 6 copies of this (1877) edition and Gernsheim makes no mention of any photographically illustrated book published in 1851. Collated complete with all tipped in plates. Badly foxed in places but still entirely readable throughout. Worn red leather binding with gilt title on top board. With a presentation inscription on a prelim by the Mayor of Lancaster, Henry Gregson, to Earl Grey K.G. A very scarce title and priced to reflect the foxing. N° de ref. del artículo 001402
