NANCY DREW MYSTERY STORIES #10 - THE PASSWORD TO LARKSPUR LANE by CAROLYN KEENE (pen name of Mildred Wirt), published by Grosset & Dunlap, copyright 1933 (original 25 chapters), 1939A-14 per Farah's (Guides for $140), orange "silhouette" (Nancy holding a magnifying glass) illustrated endpapers, thick blue boards with orange lettering to spine & front cover - late 1930s edition with "good" paperstock (format 4), glossy frontispiece illustration, 5050 price on DJ front flap, original "white spine" cover art by Russell Tandy (as distinguished from the "wraparound" or revised cover art found in later books or in revised books from this series). Lists: Dust Jacket Front Flap: Tapping Heels Dust Jacket Rear Flap: Dana Girls - Clue Cobweb Dust Jacket Back Cover: Judy Bolton - Unfinished House Book front list: Lists to itself on Copyright page Book has no creased page cornerss, no age darkening/drop spots to redish orange top stain just slight fading, slight age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges (no foxing), endpapers are clean and free from any soiling or discoloration, no tearing or splitting of page block from internal hinges, no former owner's markings or used bookseller stamps/stickers inside, no wear to board edges, corners or spine tips, no color wear or surface color tears to boards, slight spine sun fading, faint moisture splash mark at bottom to rear board, no white foxing to boards/spine (common defect with Nancy Drew books of this vintage), no bumped board corners. Dust Jacket has tiny nick losses at spine tips with closed tear & related crease at top left on spine, no other chipping, tearing or creasing, slight wear to spine tips, slight wear to front flap crease with 'v' losses to flap crease corners, slight edge wear, moisture discoloration at bottom left on spine and bottom on rear flap crease, otherwise no soiling or staining, slight dust rubbing to white rear panel, no color rubbing to front panel, no spine sun darkening. Overall a VG book in VG condition DJ (not price clipped) of a Nancy Drew hardcover printing book with dust jacket. I have a number of other hardcover Nancy Drew books up for sale.
