Sinopsis:

A Magical Adventure for the Young and Young at Heart!

Bolo is a mushpluk living on Planet Zolton. That is, until he discovers an amazing secret that forces him to leave his planet in a hurry...perhaps forever!

Along with his furry fizbot friend Snark, Bolo makes a daring journey to planet Earth, where he and Snark believe they will be safe from the dangerous powers that drove them from their home.

Once on Earth, Bolo and Snark must disguise themselves so they are not detected. They have many adventures but the biggest adventure comes from the planet Zolton when the evil mushpluk Zor Pluter chases them through time and space to steal Bolo's secret and use it to rule over Zolton.

The Mushpluk is an action-packed journey through a colorful and imaginative universe that will delight and entertain readers of all ages. Especially good for readers aged 8-12 years and for parents to read to their youngests!

About the Author:

Max Harper was a born storyteller. From the time Max could speak, stories of giants stealing candy, ogres eating homework papers, stuffed ducks requesting to be taken off the shelves for possession by the wee one, were common. It's no surprise then that when Max became somewhat taller, professional storytelling was a favorite dream. When asked about such things as favorite treats (Red Vines red licorice and chocolate of every sort), favorite movies (Star Wars/The Wizard of Oz/James Bond anything) and favorite vacations (Disneyland and any tropical island), it's not difficult to see why Max loves writing varied and imaginative tales. Max is basically a big kid, masquerading as a grownup.

A gourmet chef, Max loves to entertain friends, gaze at the stars in wonder, and keep close company with loved ones. Max also rides a Ducati (in leathers, of course), races a sport yacht in the summer, plays the drums whenever the mood strikes, and destroys all challengers at Gran Turismo on the PlayStation2. Max is currently training to become a private pilot and looks forward to spending long weekends in beautiful locations on a moment's notice.

Max is a mainstream fiction author, preferring to tell a great story rather than stay within a particular genre. Never one to shy away from the bold or the fanciful, Max loves drama, action, speculation, sci-fi and mystery, as well as the whimsical nature of pure imagination. Max also delights in writing stories for eager young minds. This makes Max's work enjoyable for readers of many different ages and tastes.

"I'm into almost everything, I guess. I get bored easily and I love to try new things," says Max. "I want to be entertained. I figure if I can make myself smile or think or wonder about something with my writing, then maybe I can do that for somebody else."

These simple words belie the intriguing complexity of one of the most versatile and exciting new voices to appear on the literary landscape. We hope you enjoy Max's fiction as much as we do, and that you too will smile or think or wonder about something because of Max's words
