A Monthly review of Progress, Practice, Business and News. The 2 volumes have been bound together in a blue sturdy library binding with bright gilt titling etc. Some marks and some spotting to boards, corners lightly bumped, bright gilt titling/numbering to spine. An Ex - Reference library book with a Reference library bookplate on the front pastedown and some small circular (1.8 cm diameter) stamps on the reverse of some plates, etc. New plain endpapers. Volume XXI (1925) - 358 pp. No covers bound in and No title page. The book goes straight to the first contents page. Similarly with Volume XXII (1926) - 256 pp. No inscriptions. Contents of both volumes include info/articles on all aspects of Lithography; Printing; Modern photo-lithography; Offset lithography; Composing machines for lithographers; Process year book; Technical questions and answers; Trade review of 1924; Trends of photo engraving and photo offset printing; etc, Printing Inks; Our Craft in Saxony. Modern Lithography on the Continent; etc, etc. As usual this volume has some very nice Period examples/samples of such work - in Colour (16 + Colour plates- including a Negro Jockey on a horse, cartoon style, by Ian HASSELL) and lots in b/w, etc. There is also a 4 pp long fold-out Pamphlet printed in Red and Black on Quality paper bound in at the end and entitled - "Printing Problems. Their Cause and Effect" by E. W. H. Stanleigh. Apart from a few very light foxing spots on the last few pages, this is a very clean tight and bright copy.
