Quarto, 88 pages, 49 steel engraved plates (lacks 8 plates from Scotland Illustrated), many plates incorrectly placed in the book, occasional light spot or mark but generally text and plates in very good, clean condition, bound in nineteenth century half calf and cloth covered boards, leather title label (slightly rubbed and chipped), spine gilt decorated in compartments within raised bands, all edges marbled, marbled paper end-papers, boards stained with band of fading on front board, corners and spine rubbed, worming damage to the rear joint and to the adjacent gilt decoration.
