20 x 13 cm. .473 very special pages that reveal much about London in the 1940 Blitz. Let me explain. The obscure volume 5 of the Works of Browne were first pub. 1931. In 1940 the remaining stock of the Works was bombed and destroyed EXCEPT for volumes 5 & 6. The latter were reissued in 1941.hence the book that you have on offer here. The other charm of this book is the print style used to capture the appearance of the original work. This item would make a wonderful gift for a Browne scholar.
