Descripción Printed for Edward and Charles Dilly, London, 1777. Contemporary Calf. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: None Issued. First Edition. Sheets are unusually large at 29.5 cm - most sets seem to have been trimmed down to 28cm or less. Binders instructions present. Seven of the eight called for plates are present in the first volume - lacks the engraved plate at Volume I, page 224. We have noted this lack in other copies as well. The second volume has a frontipiece engraved by Bertolozzi . The binding is contemporary tree calf, rubbed at edges and skillfully rebacked. Contents are quite clean. Given the size of the sheets a most pleasing copy of this work that is esentially a continuation of the wildly popular and acclaimed 1774 edition of the Letters. The two volumes weigh quite a bit and there would be an extra charge for shipping out of country or for shipping inside the United States. Nº de ref. del artículo: 25059
