Aldine Bembo type, with Centaur initials, and printed in black and green on a grey mould-made paper. 12.5 X 7.5 ins. 102 pp. Full dark green morocco with gilt device by the artist on upper and lower covers. Gilt spine titling between two raised bands. Gilt ruled turn-ins and gilt running fillet on edges. T.E.G., others uncut. 9 wood engravings by John Buckland Wright and full page map. Loosely inserted a printed slip, decorated by Eric Gill, reading, "William with compliments of The Golden Cockerel Press & best wishes from his old friend Christopher (Sandford) Nov. 1950".
