Bound in limp, yapped, bright green suede, with gold and black decoration on front. Top edge gilt, all other edges rough cut. Yellow silk ribbon marker bound in. Coloured endpapers. Two colour printed title page and tissue-guarded portrait frontis, presented in contemporary presentation box (although may not be original box as label on edge differs from title). Slightly rubbed and discoloured at edges; inscription on front free endpaper and previous owner's name on box, which is a little faded and rubbed but still robust.
