Diane M Dickson was born in Yorkshire and grew up in Lancashire, England. With her family she spent many years living and working in the Middle East which she enjoyed immensely . Now, based partly in South West, France, in a lovely house in the middle of a forest and partly in Solihull in the UK. where Diane and her husband have an apartment overlooking the Severn Trent Waterway, where they can frisby bread to the ducks right from the balcony. Married with two wonderful children and two amazing grandsons she is now indulging a lifelong passion for writing and enjoys the challenges of self publishing. Recently she was voted Shortbreader of the year and is now a community mentor for the site encouraging developing writers.
