Hard Cover. Fine/Fine Slipcase. Reprint. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 48 pages. A handsome, surprisingly informative little book, first published in an edition of only 150 in 1938. With photographs. This hardcover book is in sturdy blue full cloth-covered boards with a lighter blue pictorial on the front and light blue lettering on the spine. The book is housed in a heavy-duty slipcase covered in the same blue cloth as the book. The author has signed the front free endpaper, and a previous owner's signature and brief inscription appear on a small business-like card affixed to the front paste down. That aside, the book is essentially flawless. It is exceptionally clean and free of stains and blemishes, stands perfectly straight, and is very firm and tight in its bindings, no pages loose, missing, folded, or torn. The corner points are sharp and unbumped. Aside from the writing previously mentioned, there is no other writing, underlining, highlighting or markings of any kind anywhere in the books. The cloth binding is exceptionally clean and bright, and is completely free of any wear, no tears, no fraying, no snags. NO remainder marks. NOT ex-library. The slipcase is also exceptionally clean and completely intact, with only occasional, extremely brief, and very faint signs of any prior reader handling or shelf use at the cloth on the corner tips. No soil, no stains or blemishes. The slipcase is not torn or split at the seams, no corners bumped, no pieces missing. Very nice! Very scarce!. N° de ref. de la librería
