An enlarged edition, translated from the Paris edition od 1806. Set of 8 (of 9; lacking Volume III) small 8vo volumes, in various paginations (approximately 300pp. per volume). Volumes I & II have an engraved frontispiece portrait. Uniformly bound in contemporary full brown calf with black morocco labels, gilt lettering and ornamentation to spines. Contemporary ownership signatures to corner of fly-leaves. Text is clean and unmarked, with some foxing or tanning to paper throughout. Volumes are firmly bound. Some wear and rubbing to extremities, front joint of Volume I is splitting but all boards remain firmly attached. A nice solid set overall. Scarce. N° de ref. de la librería 005850
