The book was published on the occasion of an exhibit held in MassArt's Doran Gallery, curated by the Dynamic Media Institute's Program Coordinator and Professor of Design, Jan Kubasiewicz. In addition to the richly illustrated student work, the 200-page catalog includes: · Four essays: "Motion Literacy and the Language of Dynamic Media" by Jan Kubasiewicz; "The Shaping of Things to Come" by Brian Lucid; "Teaching Design as Experience" by Gunta Kaza; and "Writing and the Language of Dynamic Media" by Joe Quackenbush. · Thesis abstracts from 2000 to 2005. · DMI curriculum structure, course descriptions and index of faculty, advisors, critics, DMI alumni and students.
