Handsomely bound in modern three quarter cloth with marbeled boards. Front wrapper, which is bound in, has some professional repair, as does the first few leaves. 101 illustrations (complete). Two parts, 329 pages.10 x 13 inches. Langley (1834-1906) was a precursor to the Wright Brothers. His Aerodrome No. 6 flew in an unmanned flight 4200 feet at 30 miles per hour on November 28, 1896.
