Various types of photomechanical illustrations, reproducing images of various types of artwork, crafts, etc., illustrated ads. This copy lacks the photogravure plate: "Portrait Sketch" by Franz Von Lenbach at p. 195. The six Jessie M. King drawings in black & white, mostly are of architectural details: [1] Street Corner in Avignon; [2] House of the Miller, Avignon; [3] Couvent du Saint Sacrement, Avignon; [4] Ville Neuve; [5] The Court Yard; [6]"Where Red Riding Hood's Grandmother Lived". Gray-green, design printed paper covers, with a repaired tear across the lower front cover, general age-related tanning, wear to cover edges, the paper spine shows chipping to the paper, and has been re-pasted down, at some point; interior tissue guards show tanning, otherwise, the interior is clean.
