The Lance. An Annual [St. Georges School]. June, 1908.
7.75" x 9.75". 131pp., plus ads. Red cloth hardcover with gilt lettering and an illustrated paper cover label featuring a knight holding a lance. Near fine condition. With the usual sections on various classes, clubs, faculty, athletics, etc. Many illustrations from drawings and black & white photos, especially nice shots of the campus. One of the St. George's students listed here in the fourth form was Arthur Larned Ryserson, jr., whose family were victims of the Titanic sinking. Unfortunately the book includes no photo of Ryerson. Vincent Astor was alos a student. He is listed in the Red & White Club section, the school directory, and in the list of forms (4th form.) He is shown in at least one picture, as a member of The Lance Board (the yearbook staff.). N° de ref. de la librería 7938
