Established in 1993 and located just north of San Francisco in beautiful Marin County, we are antiquarian booksellers dealing primarily in desirable 19th Century English Literature, both first editions and manuscripts, with a special emphasis on superb original condition and a particular interest in the works of Thomas Hardy. We also specialize in Film Source First Editions and Manuscripts. We are members in good standing of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America. Lakin & Marley has an unreasonably small but select stock; we prefer to buy and sell only those books which we ourselves love and can take pride in handling.

Orders will ship within 2 business days unless there are special circumstances. Our $8.00 flat rate is for UPS or Priority Mail. All UPS shipping includes tracking and insurance. We don't use media mail for any item valued at over $100. If you order multiple books, there will be no extra charge for shipping. We like customer satisfaction.
