Three quarter light brown leather over marbled paper boards has four raised bands on the spine, embellished with intricate gilt detail, as well as a dark brown label, featuring bright gilt lettering. All edges marbled. Extremities are rubbed, some wear at certain spots, including corners. Covers and raised bands on spine are rubbed, some of the gilt is faded. Recently rebacked with original backstrip laid down. Original marbled endpp. professionally taped in. A few minimal spots of foxing in the prelims, errata slip following the title p.
