Descripción Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. Grace Litchfield (1949 - 1944) was an American poet and novelist who lived in Brooklyn, NY. This was her third novel, the first was "Only an Incident" published in 1883. Original tan boards with black cover and spine lettering and decorations. The covers have some smudging and second of the two illustrations is nearly detached from the sewing and extending slightly at the leading edge from the rest of the pages. This copy may be lacking a preliminary illustration "Betty Reading Louis' Poem," or perhaps was issued without the illustration.
