Joel Parker (1799-1873) was an American Presbyterian clergyman and educator. He was a pastor and later teacher in Rochester, New York City, New Orleans, and back to New York City at several locations and Philadelphia. The volume contains Parker's reasons to achieve happiness by embracing Jesus & Christianity. He was quite influential during the Antebellum days. Very good clean copy.
