Sinopsis: Based on the best-selling series by the Aufmann team, this hardcover text for the intermediate algebra course adheres to the formula that has made the Aufmann developmental texts so reliable for both students and instructors. The text's clear writing style, emphasis on problem-solving strategies, and proven Aufmann Interactive Method--in an objective-based framework--offer guided learning for both lecture and self-paced courses. The completely integrated learning system is organized by objectives. Each chapter begins with a list of learning objectives, which are woven throughout the text, in Exercises, Chapter Tests, and Cumulative Reviews, as well as through the print and multimedia ancillaries.
