Descripción Brethren Publishing House, Elgin, IL: 1901/1981., 1981. Soft Cover. Estado de conservación: As New. Exact Reprint of the 1901 First Edition. 212 p. + Reprints of the original advertisements. Paperback. Crisp copy. Many of the recipes are attributed to the people who sent them in - reading like a genealogy of Brethren names in Pennsylvania, and throughout the U.S. at the turn of the century. All the recipes are guaranteed to have been "tried and recommended." The advertisements are also fascinating. They include: Swift's Meats; the Great Northern Railway land sales in Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Washington; patent medicines like Digestol; custom tailored "plain clothing"; etc. & etc. **PRICE JUST REDUCED!
