Acerca de

Join author, Tanya Donahue, as she takes her readers on an amazing journey in the adventures of Zander, Jack, Lulu and Adeline Hooligan who have just arrived in Kelowna. Zander, the oldest of the Hooligan children, is bamboozled when he finds out he will be sharing a room with his younger brother Jack.

He needs to come up with a plan, and fast. Will he be able to solve all his problems with duct tape? Or will a deal sealed with a spit hand-shake do the trick?

Meeting the four Hooligan children is an experience you won't soon forget. You are invited to enjoy the first adventure of this fun-loving inter-racial family. All proceeds from the first year of sales will go to non-profit organizations intent on rebuilding Haiti and empowering the Haitian people for sustainable change.

About the Author:

Tanya Donahue is the mother of her very own hooligans, not unlike the characters found here in her first children's title. Stepping away from non-fiction adoption writing 'The Hooligans' has been her opportunity to give readers a glimpse into the lighter side of inter-racial families - families that perhaps look different from others but are fun and fantastic all the same.

Tanya, along with her husband and their four wonderfully adventurous children, live in Kelowna, British Columbia, where she is currently working on her next book in the 'The Hooligans' series.

Tanya has written numerous articles on adoption from the perspective of parents going through the experience, dealing with legislation, the emotional ups and downs, and the intense emotions, yet having to find tempered patience while waiting for due course and legislative process. Her articles were met with accolades and commendation by those on both sides of the adoption experience.

Tanya's book, The Hooligans, is the perfect marriage between passion and experience. It was through her family's experience with adoption and the intense love, acceptance and journey, that she again recalled a childhood passion to write.
