Ornately decorated silver front cover with Moses holding the Ten Commandments, standing atop Mount Sinai. PURE SILVER stamped at base on rear cover. Page edges decorated in gold leaf. Hinges are strong and sound; designed for heavy use. A most attractive copy of the Holy Scriptures with a decorative pure silver cover, expertly designed. PURE SILVER stamping at base of rear indicates these silver covers were manufactured using the highest grade of Silver. To put this in perspective, the purity of silver uses a numeric scale, or rating system, based on 1,000. Pure Silver gets top billing, with a 999 rating, whereas the more common Sterling silver, is approximately ten percent less pure, with a 92.5 purity, or AKA 925 on the number scale. As such, Pure Silver is more desirable, and more rare, and more valuable than Sterling Silver. Just a little tidbit if you're not familiar with Pure Silver.
