Green cloth. 8vo. 56pp. No dust jacket. Illustrated. The Pitkin Glass Works was the first successful attempt to establish a glass factory in Connecticut, and among the first in New England. It operated for more than 40 years, and is thought be some collectors to have set a standard in its area for excellence of product. Its building, at least the lower two stories of stone, survives as a romantic ruin. This book is the first history of the Pitkin Glass Works and contains color photographs of the site and many examples of Pitkin glassware in color. A fine copy with light wear to the cloth. There is a small oval blindstamp at the foot of the title page and a tiny ink name stamp on the flyleaf. The pages are otherwise clean and fine. N° de ref. de la librería
