Editorial: Image Books
Condición del libro: Good
Descripción Image Books / Doubleday, New York, 1994. Soft cover. Estado de conservación: As New. No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. The first three volumes are 2nd printings, published 1993. Volumes IV through IX (the remainder of the 9-volume set) are all first printings with full number lines, published 1994. Volume I has a soft vertical crease to rear wrap and the bottom corners of pp. 305-420 were once dog-eared (poor storage) -- those corners now straightened. Call Vol. I "very-good-plus." But there are no creases to any of the spines; these nine trade paperback volumes are all "as-new unread." From Volume I (Greece and Rome) and Vol. II (Medieval Philosophy -- Augustine) through Volume V (Hobbes to Hume) to Volume IX (from the French Revolution to Sartre, Camus, and Levi-Strauss -- which seems a healthy chunk), it's all here. The first eight volumes originally published 1944 through 1965 and all certified Nihil Obstat by the appropriate censors of the Society of Jesus; the ninth and final volume, originally published 1974, curiously lacks any notice of Imprimitur, of Nihil Obstat, or even De Licentia Superiorum Ordinis, to which we can only warn: Caveat emptor anima eius. Each volume appears to have a separate ISBN; we list the ISBN from Volume I. (ISBN of Vol. IX, for instance, is 0-385-47045-2.) Due to combined weight, this set would cost extra to ship outside the U.S. Reduced from $122. Nº de ref. de la librería 004364
